Pip McGarry...Artist
Born in Singapore in 1955, Pip McGarry describes himself as a self taught artist but attributes his natural talent to his artistic family background. Pip McGarry started out in the Civil Service, but after a lengthy career Pip finally decided to turn his great hobby of wildlife painting into a profession.
Working mainly in oils, Pip McGarry's originals have been outstandingly popular and Pip's success has enabled him to raise thousands of pounds for various conservation concerns including the Epulu Okapi Game Reserve Appeal in Zaire, the Dambari Field Research Station for Black Rhinos in Zimbabwe, and Save the Tiger. Pip McGarry has travelled extensively overseas and has lived in Central America and the Far East. Pip conducts regular field research trips abroad in order to study wildlife and habitat,.
