Patrick Livingstone...Artist

Born in 1956 in Lurgan County Armagh into a family of artists Patrick Livingstone began to produce major watercolours at an early age. He rejected the idea of a formal art training although he had been accepted at a Northern Ireland College of Art. He moved to England and set up his own studio where he could explore the varied media of originals and prints.

Patrick received greatest acclaim for his work involving watercolour and oils combined. By 1985 he had been commissioned by three card companies to paint for them as well as numerous design companies. His first two multi-media limited edition prints were produced in 1986 and they have been widely appreciated by galleries and collectors throughout the world.
