Mark Preston...Artist
Born in Derby in 1976 Mark Preston studied illustration at Anglia University, Cambridge. After graduating Mark Preston chose to become a landscape painter, rather than pursue a career in illustration. Mark Preston has since made a sensational impact on the contemporary art scene.
Mark Preston has visited Cornwall regularly all his life and in recent years has spent many months exploring and painting Penwith. Apart from Mark Preston's love of Cornish coastal scenes, interior settings provide this young artist with a wealth of still life subjects.
Mark Preston's figurative studies are also keenly sought after and he has already achieved three successful solo exhibitions in Derbyshire.
