Dianne Flynn...Artist
Dianne Flynn was born in 1939 and brought up in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. She attended art shcools in Batley and Huddersfield before going on to Manchester School of Art & Design.
Following her studies Dianne settled in France, living and painting in Languedoc with fellow artist and husband to be, Paul Hedley. In 1975 she came home to the UK where she was enthusiastically received.
Dianne is an outstanding figurative painter who specialises in idylic scenes of children playing on sunlit beaches. These paintings speak not only of her technical skill, but also of her great narrative gift as they carry us off into the world that she so lovingly creates.
Dianne has had great success in exhibiting her artwork all over the world, as well as leading galleries close to home including the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Royal Overseas League and The Pastel Society.
