Carlos Morago Carlos Morago...Artist

Carlos was born in 1954 in Madrid. He started exhibiting his work in 1980 in El Ferrol, Spain and his interpretations of the elements of nature, landscapes and flowers have since travelled around the world with different exhibitions. In the true spirit of the Romantic Tradition, he excludes every reference to the human figure in his work, allowing him to portray nature free from any distractions. The result of Carlos's true and exact depictions are paintings of extreme beauty and magical intensity; his soft and unique style of floral painting being instantly recognisable.

He has exhibited in all major Spanish cities as well as in Belgium, Mexico, Germany, Holland, France and throughout the world as well as winning several prestigious awards, including: 1984 1st prize Villa de Cedeira, 1990 Honour medal Prix BMW, 1991 Honour medal Prix BMW.
