Bob Sanders...Artist
Bob Sanders was born in Leeds in 1945 and went to school in London. He spent six years travelling abroad in America, Australia and New Zealand. Whilst in Australia, he studied for a year at the University of New Zealand. On his return, he studied at the Barking College of Art where, for a time, he also lectured in graphic design. He now works full-time as an artist and printmaker and also designs stage scenery.
A pioneer in the technique of screenprinting during its resurgence in the seventies, Bob Sanders continues to stretch the medium to its fullest extent. In fact, he was the recipient of a major US art award for his breakthroughs in this field.
His work has been widely exhibited in the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Israel
