Barry Novis is a "listed artist" having sold paintings at auction through Christies, London.Collectors of his work include:Coldplay, Nicky Clarke, Bill Kenwright/Jenny Seagrove, George Ferguson, Lord Constantine, Hit and Run Music,Carlton Communications, Victor Ubogu, Ade Adebayo, Mark Foster, Peter Hall and Mediaforce
Barry is rapidly becoming a star in his own right. He is now being commissioned by some of Rock?s most legendary stars for their portraits, and his originals are currently fetching prices hitherto unheard of for a new artist.
His original painting of John Lennon, sold at the Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Charity Auction, sold for a record ?23,000 in June 2003. The successful bid was by Chris Martin of Coldplay.
